Right before the pandemic, The Holly Tree on the edge of Wanstead Flats underwent refurbishment, not just installing a new kitchen and sprucing up the interior with a classic pub look, but also installing a fully functioning miniature railway in the freshly landscaped garden. As you can imagine, it's a great place for kids, and the menu includes a varied selection of both pub standbys and more exotic dishes.
