The Holy Tavern was established in the 90s but is set in a building going back to 1720, The Clerkenwell Priory. The compact space looks historical and is known for cosiness with candlelight, two roaring fires, and an intimate mezzanine. A lengthy list of beers and ales are served. The upmarket food ranges from wild boar hot dogs to seasonal cheese platters.
