Troubadour
Opened in 1954, Troubador is London’s last remaining venue from the era. It’s one of the capital’s oldest independent music venues, with a distinctive style and live music every night of the week. If you’re after tasty drinks, inspiring performances, comforting food, and an electric atmosphere, this is it. The venue is ideal for events and private parties, including weddings.
Troubador has a traditional look and a rich history to match. Sit amongst exposed brick and rustic instruments to immerse yourself in the atmosphere and enjoy varied music performances. There’s a huge variety of ticketed events but you can also book a table for free jazz nights, with the option to add drinks and dinner packages if you like.
When it comes to food and drinks, Troubadour doesn’t disappoint. Pop by for a drink, with a big range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices available. Go for a classic pot of hot tea or kick off a night out with sharing cocktails, draft beer, or a choice of wines. It’s a worthy selection if you just fancy a glass whilst you listen to music but it’s also great paired with the food served here.
Come for a meal throughout the day or to make jazz night even more exciting. The seasonal menus feature classic comfort food with a refined French touch. Classic brunch dishes are served until the afternoon and there are light lunches like salads. In the evening, try small plates like halloumi fritters or ribs plus indulgent and warming main dishes like burgers and shepherd’s pie.
