With a deep green façade and pink lettering, Foster Books fosters (heh) a love of old books, spreading its wares on the street in the front of the shop in nice weather. Specialising in hard-to-find, out-of-print, used, rare and other collectible tomes, the Chiswick bookstore isn’t the place to go looking for the hottest new bestsellers. But if you’re after first editions, leatherbound volumes and the like, do drop by.
