Tucked away in the Blackhorse Workshop quarter, this café might have started out as a showcase for an independent coffee roaster, but has since grown into a beloved community space thanks also to its food offer. The changing weekly menu combines freshness with decadence for generous slices of banana bread slathered in mascarpone, sourdough toasties, Turkish eggs, pea smashes and more, and the over-the-top French toast is obscenely hard to resist.

Blackhorse Workshop Cafe never disappoints. The food is consistently good and interesting, the coffee is good, the place is simple but nice. It's great in nice weather, with a chill outdoor terrace. I highly recommend the French toast - if you're feeling too full after a meal, they can do...

One of my all time favourite breakfast places in London. Great food, great coffee, ever-changing menu of goodies. The french toast is to die for. Great vibe and dog friendly.
