Dark Sugars is the place to go in London for handcrafted artisan chocolates, vegan treats and hot chocolate. The company was established by Nyanga, an African woman who set out to tell the story of cocoa, from tree to tummy. She started in Spitalfields Market with a small stall, then spent a few years researching cocoa on her family’s farm in West Africa before eventually expanding to Greenwich (where they have an ice cream parlour and flagship store) and Brick Lane.
