Darkest Peru

Darkest Peru is an independent café serving up a slice of Peruvian soul in the heart of Hoxton. Founded by Peruvian architect Pedro Tello, the café serves coffee from the high-altitude farms of Peru, where some of the world's best coffee is grown, alongside a menu of sandwiches and cakes rooted in the country's culinary heritage — from 'Torta de Chocolate' cake, made with Peruvian cacao, one of the finest in the world, as well as Tres Leches, a sponge soaked in three kinds of milk, reflecting European baking traditions embraced in Latin America. There are also sandwiches inspired by Incan roots, Spanish influence and Asian technique.
