A friendly neighbourhood hangout in busy Covent Garden, Drury 188-189 is a joint project by two long-time friends who decided to take a shot at the indie café business. The many napkins with drawings and thanks lining the walls suggest that they've managed to bring a spirit of community to the area, not just juices, coffee, breakfast staples such as scrambled eggs and porridge, but also lunchtime salads, soups and sarnies. Whipping out your laptop is frowned upon.

Really liked this place - very nice and cosy, with really friendly staff. Had the pistachio baklava pancakes and the French toast, both were extremely good, and we tried their brownies as well - really nice and smooth without being too gooey, very good. Great coffee too!

Really liked this place - very nice and cosy, with really friendly staff. Had the pistachio baklava pancakes and the French toast, both were extremely good, and we tried their brownies as well - really nice and smooth without being too gooey, very good. Great coffee too!
