If you've spent more than ten minutes on Oxford Street, you'll know that finding somewhere decent to sit down and eat is a bit of a mission. That's where Kula Cafe comes into its own, a lovely, family-run spot just off the main drag that serves crêpes, pancakes, waffles, and plenty more all day long. It's the kind of place where you can drop in for breakfast, brunch, or a late afternoon sugar hit, and no one will judge you for ordering something covered in Nutella.

The menu's got serious range; you'll find French-style crêpes and galettes alongside chapati rolls, chicken and waffles, and even pizza if you're fully leaning into the carbs. The sweet crêpes are the highlight, such as the classic Nutella and banana combo, strawberries and cream, or an over-the-top Kinder Bueno situation, but the savoury ones are well worth a look too. The ham and cheese is a comfort classic, sitting alongside other highlights, such as the smoked salmon and cream cheese number.

It's not just about the food, though; the drinks list is enormous and really varied. You can grab a proper flat white or cappuccino, or try something different like the saffron Spanish lattes, golden milk, or pistachio crème brûlée coffees. If you're in recovery mode, there are smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, or even a matcha immunity blend that feels very wellness warrior.

Surprisingly chill for central London, Kula feels like a cute, cosy neighbourhood café that somehow landed in the heart of the city. It's the sort of place you end up spending a lot longer in (and eating a lot more) than you meant to, which, given the size of the menu, is probably for the best.
