Review of Lilly's Café – by Sara C.

This cafe is a hidden gem in Covent Garden. The decor is "magical" and the names of the drinks evocate crystals.
The hot drinks were OK. I ordered an emerald matcha (regular milk), expecting a little extra scenographic component, as the decor. I received a bland matcha latte, with a not-so-green colour and an OK taste. We ordered a slice of cake, which arrived on a large plate, giving us the impression that the slice was too small. (I gave my feedback to the waitress - such a small change will also improve the perception of the dish).
I will probably go back at some point and try a few more dish to get an overall impression.
