Miranda Café

Situated a few steps away from the Crouch End Picturehouse, Miranda Café is a casual eatery that serves vegetarian and vegan dishes from all over the world during the day, often giving them a South American flourish.

The venue itself is very low-key, with the double doors left open in nice weather to soak the space in natural light. Miranda Café is furnished with assorted vintage chairs and tables, as well as potted plants all over, giving the exposed-brick setting a cosy vibe.

The menu at Miranda Café draws from the owners' South American background. The culinary influences are apparent either as slight flourishes on established classics, for example the guacamole added to the Full English breakfast with grilled spicy seitan sausages, vegan bacon and halloumi, black beans, eggs, mushroom, roasted potatoes and tomatoes and sourdough, or on full display in dishes such as the arepas brunch, which includes cornbread tapas, black beans, hummus, BBQ pulled jackfruit, slaw, guacamole and tortilla chips. There's a wide variety of international favourites on the predominantly vegan menu as well, for example Israeli laffa, the South Carolina hot dog or the kimchi burger.

Miranda Café is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, with the drinks menu including hot drinks, rainbow lattes and fresh juices, as well as alcoholic options in the form of wine, beer and cocktails.
