Supposedly one of the oldest cinemas in the country, Phoenix Cinema is elegantly decorated in the Art Deco style, with a gilded vaulted ceiling across its retro auditorium. One of the leading independent cinemas in London, this East Finchley picture house screens recent blockbusters, classic masterpieces and independent productions, as well as hosting other screen arts, for example opera and ballet. They also have special screenings for parents with infants.
