Planet Organic is the UK's first organic supermarket, with branches all over London. They opened in 1995 and were the first shop certified by the Soil Association, which they continue to be proud of today.

In addition to being organic, they also recognise the importance of becoming more sustainable and have been constantly working towards ways in which they can be better. They became the first zero-edible food waste business in 2018 by redistributing leftover food to the community through Olio and Too Good To Go. For any other food waste that can't be eaten, they turn it into compost, used by regenerative agriculture farms around London.

They also launched their Unpackaged range of refillable organic essentials in 2014, with stations available in most of their stores, including a beauty installation in their Muswill Hill branch.

Inside their stores, you'll find all kinds of items, from grocery essentials such as baking and cooking items to cold drinks, alcohol-free beer, wine and spirits, confectionary, and much more. They do stock a small range of non-organic products to keep up with customer demands. However, they still maintain their high-quality sourcing and never stock products containing artificial ingredients. The meat and eggs they stock are sourced exclusively from British organic farms, except for wild game, which cannot be certified organic due to its wild nature. Their fruit, vegetables, and dairy products are always certified organic. There's also a café serving hot drinks, juices, and snacks.
