There are housekeeping services, but in keeping with the hotel’s dedication to sustainability, you have to request them when you book to minimise laundry use. That’s not the only way The Pilgrm shows its commitment – much of the furniture is UK-made using reclaimed materials, adding history to the hotel. It uses as little plastic as possible, provides refillable and recyclable water bottles, and has live plants rather than cut flowers throughout the hotel.

The Pilgrm’s art-laden lounge and terrace is available for guests, serving food and drinks throughout the day. A brunch menu is served until 3pm, featuring dishes like spelt and courgette fritters and smoked salmon and eggs. In the evening you can enjoy cocktails, wine, and nibbles here.
