The not-for-profit Carshalton Lavender is a volunteer-run lavender field in Sutton. The community enterprise is open to the public only for the annual harvest, usually on the last weekend in July. In addition to helping pick the lavender, visitors can pick their own bunch. Craft & food stalls, face painting and other fun activities are also organised to help turn the event into a fun outing for the whole family. The rest of the year, you can volunteer to help out on weekends.
