Temple Church
Temple Church is a small church in The City that was consecrated in 1185. It was built by the Knights Templar, a famed Catholic military order, and served as their headquarters until the order's destruction in the beginning of the 14th century. Having survived the Great Fire and the Blitz, it is now a Grade I listed building. It regularly hosts choral music performances and free organ recitals, and is renowned for its excellent acoustics.
