The Fountain of Filth

The Fountain of Filth

A 10-metre-wide installation titled 'Fountain of Filth' has appeared at Observation Point on London's South Bank, drawing attention to Britain's ongoing sewage pollution debate. The striking structure features sculpted figures bent double, appearing to expel murky water into a basin below, while a suited businessman stands above them, clutching a briefcase of cash. Created as part of the promotional campaign for Channel 4's factual drama “Dirty Business", the fountain aims to spark conversation around water industry practices and their wider environmental and public health impact. It is on display from February 23–25.
