A heavy focus on vegetables usually isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when someone says “barbecue restaurant”, but the live-fire Acme Fire Cult concept puts veggies at the heart of its ash-dusted menu. At one of the hottest new spots in town (pun intended), global fermentation and grilling techniques are used on aubergines, celeriac, potatoes and the like, with carefully sourced meat and seafood relegated to sidekick status. The venue also collaborates with 40FT Brewery to offer their beers on tap, as well as use their by-products in their cooking.
