Chet's

Based at The Hoxton hotel in West London, Chet's is a Thai-American spot with an easygoing vibe. This much-lauded restaurant combines the vibrant flavours of Thai and Asian cuisine with the comforting feel of an American diner. The place has a somewhat retro feel with 70s-style patterned textiles in the booths and a clean and neutral colour palette. 

Food is served throughout the day and there's plenty of variety on the menu. The dual Asian and American influences are clear here, with an NYC-style bodega sandwich sitting alongside chicken 'n' roti waffles on the all-day menu. Salads and sandwiches are served that also showcase this fusion of cuisines with options like a Thai Cobb salad or a portobello mushroom and cheese roti. More typical Thai dishes like green curry and pineapple fried rice are also on the menu. By night the menu becomes more focused on Thai cuisine with options like larb, papaya salad, and the showstopping lobster firecracker noodles.

There's plenty of choice too when it comes to drinks at Chet's. There's a considerable wine list with options from regions such as Italy, Portugal, and Spain, as well as orange wine produced in Kent.
