Conchiglia

In the middle of the city you'll find Conchiglia, a cute family-run restaurant that's been open since 2008. This place brings comforting Neapolitan cuisine and genuine Italian home cooking to London's diners. The goal of this restaurant is for guests to get an authentic experience of eating in Italy, even if they haven't actually left Fitzrovia. 

This restaurant is cosy and intimate with indoor and outdoor seats. Expect homey framed photos on the walls, flowers and leaves hanging from the ceiling, and candlelight illuminating the space. The outdoor terrace is also surrounded by flowers and trellises. As well as having plenty of space for diners, there's a deli counter here too if you want to take the Italian flavours home with you. 

Food is indulgent at Conchiglia. If you're wondering how indulgent, the brunch offering involves sharing platters and a two litre glass of Aperol spritz per person. If you're sticking with the main menu, there are still loads of tempting dishes to try. The simple menu centres on the classics – antipasti, pizza, pasta, and gelato – with plenty of choice including multiple vegetarian and vegan dishes. There are plenty of dishes involving luxurious truffles and pasta lovers can choose any three pasta options to share on a platter. Drinks aren't forgotten about either, with plenty of cocktails, mocktails, and a curated Italian wine list. Several options are served by the glass.
