G Kelly

£ British restaurant

G Kelly is one of London's longest-standing pie and mash shops, established in the 1920s and taken over by George Kelly in 1939. You can enjoy a traditional beef pie, mash, and liquor, or a vegan version, served with jellied eels if you want to be extra traditional. The shopfront hasn't changed much, and whilst there's no longer sawdust scattered on the floor, it remains stripped-back with tiled walls and canteen-style tables.

Reviews of G Kelly

I've definitely eaten here too many times and it was definitely good for my waistline when I moved away. But you can get pie and mash for less than a fiver soooo win win, really.
