This family-run Indian spot has been serving classics in Soho since it opened back in 1988. There’s a simple menu of authentic dishes and thalis, and a drinks list of Indian wines, Cobra and Kingfisher beers and an excellent mango lassi. The restaurant is casual, the prices are decent and it’s located in a busy part of the city, it ticks all of the boxes.
