The brothers behind Borough Market fish restaurant Applebee's Fish try their hand at Spanish tapas at their new venture at the front of the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall. Their small plates draw on the cuisine of north-western Galicia and feature plenty of seafood, from the titular garlicky gambas to Cornish crab with fennel tostada, or marinated anchovies seasoned with garlic and parsley. Non-seafood dishes such as Iberico pork cheek empanadas or vegan-friendly croquettes also make an appearance.
