Sheba Brick Lane
This Brick Lane institution has been serving classic Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi fare since it opened in 1974. It's been run by the same family since it opened and has been racking up awards and accolades ever since.
In 2012, Sheba nabbed the prestigious award of the best Indian restaurant in Brick Lane by the UK Restaurant Guides, followed by the best in East London, awarded by Fluid London. Recently, it's also scooped up Best Curry in London at the English Curry Awards, where the top restaurants from across England come together to celebrate the curry industry.
The chef at Sheba is committed to using only the finest quality seafood, meat and vegetables to craft a menu of fresh dishes packed with flavour. Enjoy traditional plates like chicken tikka masala, prawn vindaloo, samosas and more. They also have various set menus that offer a taste of all the main dishes for an affordable price. As for drinks, much like many of the Indian restaurants on Brick Lane, this is another BYOB spot, meaning you can take your own bottle of drink along for no extra cost.
