Tenmaru, which started with one restaurant in Finsbury Park in 2019, now boasts a second site in Oxford Circus, bringing the authentic izakaya experience straight from Japan to London. The menu is chock-full of things like gyoza, cucumber salad, karaage, and vegetable cakes, alongside an impressive selection of ramen, specialising in chicken broth ramen. They also serve a soupless mazesoba and a range of vegan bowls, including spicy miso and tofu and basil pesto ramen. Both locations operate on a walk-in basis, so no reservations are needed.
