Despite holding only 2,000 people, the award-winning Shepherd’s Bush Empire has hosted some of the biggest stars in the world, for example The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Adele, who often use it as an intimate warm-up before heading out on a major tour. The Grade II listed building with a trademark tower has been around for more than a century, first as a theatre. It became a live music venue in the early 1990s and soon established a reputation as an acclaimed concert hall. In addition to gigs, it also hosts stand-up comedy.
