Celebrate new year's eve in Malmö

Be transported back to the 16th century on the last night of the year in Rådhuskällaren's historic premises. A glass of sparkling wine on arrival sets the tone for the evening's celebrations. Guests are then served a a five-course dinner worthy of the special occasion.

At Kasai in the Sky, New Year's is celebrated with dinner, drinks, and an unbeatable panoramic view over Malmö. A specially composed tasting menu is served here, including a drinks package, and there's also a vegetarian menu if you prefer. If you choose the later seating, you can also ring in the new year on the rooftop terrace.

At the Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live, you can celebrate the New Year in grand style, whether you arrive in the evening or for lunch. In the hotel's Italian restaurant Grand Italian, a three-course menu is served during the day, while dinner features seven courses. Pairing drinks elevate the menus to new heights.

Here, the celebration begins with a New Year's lunch featuring the Opera's cold-smoked salmon carpaccio, which is also available vegetarian, along with opera cake with raspberries and chocolate. Following this, there will be a matinée performance of Chicago. Combine with a glass of wine or champagne for an extra touch of luxury.

Malmö's magnificent concert house hosts a glamorous, glittering new year's eve gala, leading guests into the new year with beautiful music from the Malmö Symphony Orchestra. Music comes from all different periods, with reflections on the present day, the past and what to expect in the future. You can book food and drink for the interval for the 5pm performance.
