Three 2024 Anime and Gaming Conventions in London Fans of Anime Culture Can't-Miss
Fans of anime and manga (otakus) may feel it’s hard to find stuff they like to buy or even someone who shares the same interests outside the online world.
As an otaku, I know how it feels, and the vital role anime conventions play. Sure, the best anime subscription box ever brings anime and manga fans the most amazing anime loot to their door monthly without effort. However, that doesn’t replace the joy of making and meeting friends or engaging in fun convention activities!
The anime conventions below can provide the wholesome experience of human interaction for my fellow otakus in London!
AnimeCon London 2024
(February 3rd-4th, 2024)
The second convention of AnimeCon UK is being held in London on February 3rd and 4th, and the event will take place at Drumsheds, 6 Glover Dr, London N18 3HF!
A weekend of fun otaku activities awaits, such as a cosplay party, disco, exhibits, and so much more. You’ll be able to enjoy artists, music, and anime, meet people who share your tastes, and buy anime and manga-related stuff!
- Saturday (Feb, 3rd): 10:00 - 18:00
- Sunday (Feb, 4th): 10:00 - 17:00
Event organizers have confirmed the presence of voice actors Brianna Knickerbocker (Genshin Impact, Fire Emblem), Nazeeh Tarsha (Genshin Impact, Pokemon: Twilight Wings), and other talents who lent their voices to anime and game characters.
Ticket prices vary from £17.50 (+ booking fee) for the Sunday pass to £40 VIP (+ booking fee), which grants access to both show days. It also includes perks such as a VIP lounge and express entry!
London Anime & Gaming Con 2024
(February 16th-18th, 2024)
London Anime & Gaming Con, organized by Animeleague, happens twice yearly. The first convention for 2024 will occur on February 16th, 17th, and 18th at Novotel London West, International Center, Shortlands, London, W6 8DR.
Anime screening, video gaming, and karaoke are just a few activities available during the three-day convention, and special workshops and exhibitions occur during each. If you can’t attend them all, I recommend checking the activities you like the most to plan and pick the best dates for you.
The confirmed guests are voice actors, idols, and other incredible artists!
Ticket prices start at £15, with extra fees for early entry and VIP passes. A three-day entry ticket costs £45 each. Children under eight years old enter for free. Kids under 16 need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

London Anime & Gaming Con 2024
(August 31st - September 1st, 2024)
Last but not least, we have the second edition of London Anime & Gaming Con 2024, which takes place on August 31st and September 1st.
Anime Convention with Gaming and Video Gaming Programming:
Despite being one day shorter than February’s edition, you can expect the same fun activities, panels, and exhibitions. The location is the same as the previous event: Novotel London West, International Center, 1 Shortlands, London W6 8DR.
Guests are yet to be announced, so watch for news regarding this convention!
Ticket rates start at £20 (Sunday), and extra fees are for early entrance or VIP access. Like the other London Anime & Gaming Con, a paying adult must accompany children under 16, and kids under eight enter for free.
