Esperia gets 1/5 of me in rating, the absolute only positive thing about the experience was that the food was good. Stressed waitresses, one with a really bad attitude. No sense of service.
We, a couple, were placed in a table connected to a family with children. You know how tables usually have a space in between? These did not have that, but were put together. I don't want to go out to eat and sit in the same table as a family with children I don't know. I kindly asked the waitress if it was possible to move the tables out a bit so that we can sit a little by ourselves, and was treated rudely. The arrogant waitress was most bothered by the request. No sense of service here. Got a headache from the kid who was screaming and jumping on the couch, and almost jumped on my lap when we sat right next to each other. Asked if it was possible to order a salad with our chosen main course, but it was an appetizer that we got with the wine. Not at all according to my wishes, in other words. Also here the same stressed and arrogant waitress with no sense of service. He also removed our bread basket while I was eating the bread. We didn't get to choose dessert ourselves as it was predetermined with the main course apparently, something we didn't get information about from him either. Really bad.
More guests were dissatisfied which we both heard and saw that evening, there were three couples sitting closest to the door by the window who sat with their jackets on and froze. Apparently there were even worse seats than the one we got, cozy to sit and freeze through the whole dinner. One of the couples wanted to change tables but they couldn't. Another couple was told that their sitting time was soon up, nice to hear that in the middle of dessert. I understand that the restaurant has a seating time, but it's bad to stress your guests in that way.
Don't come here as a couple is my best tip to you. There are SO many better places in Stockholm, this was one of my worse experiences and then I have been to many restaurants in town. I always tip but this time, as you can understand from my review, there was no tip. We are not coming back here, and neither should you!
