In 2000, Singaporean-born Brit David Yeo, a former lawyer, was living in Hong Kong and was encouraged by friends to open a restaurant based on his entertaining dinner parties. Over the years, this led to Aqua Restaurant Group, a global collection of some of the most prestigious restaurants in the world. Well-represented in London, the group’s ventures here include the sleek Aqua restaurants, Chinese restaurant Hutong on Level 33 of The Shard, convivial Italian eatery Luci, and more, all of them regularly featuring on various best-of lists.
