Do you want to speed down the longest tunnel slide in the world? You can do that right here in London at the ArcelorMittal Orbit. Built for the 2012 Olympics, this distinctive red structure was designed by renowned artist Anish Kapoor and is the tallest sculpture in the UK. The Helix slide itself was created by artist Carsten Höller. At 178m long and with 12 twists and turns, you'll have an exciting ride as you catch glimpses of the London skyline before you're plunged into darkness with no idea of which direction you're heading in next.

Combine the action with getting up close with a monumental piece of art. Start on the ground to take it all in and then go up in the lift to the viewing platform. This is the ideal opportunity to get some great photos of the city. From there you can jump on that thrilling slide, or take the stairs accompanied by soundscapes and concave mirrors for a more sedate experience. Complete your visit with a coffee or meal at one of the various eateries nearby.

For a one-of-a-kind special event you can privately hire the slide as well for a unique private or corporate event. The ArcelorMittal Orbit also has a number of event spaces available for hire separately, with catering and entertainment options available. This activity will excite London thrill-seekers looking for an experience they can't get anywhere else.

A fun experience in East London. The structure is interesting to see up close and the slide is exciting, though it is over quickly. The views from the top of the Arcelor Mittal are great.
