Renowned Soho restaurateur Nima Safaei is set to release his highly anticipated debut cookbook, “At Home With Nima”, this summer. The book highlights his signature culinary philosophy of simple, fresh, and accessible Italian home cooking.

Structured around a full year in Safaei's life, the chapters reflect the rhythm of the seasons through key calendar moments and gatherings. The cookbook combines personal storytelling with recipes inspired by his home kitchen and his acclaimed Soho restaurants.
Born in Tehran and having moved to London as a child, Safaei's deep appreciation for Italian cuisine was initially sparked in childhood by a taste of ossobuco and later refined during visits to Florence. His approach to hospitality and cooking is also profoundly influenced by the warmth and generosity of his late mother. Since establishing 40 Dean Street in 2009, he has expanded his portfolio to include 64 Old Compton Street and 27 Old Compton Street, and the cookbook brings the welcoming, sharing-centric spirit of these venues directly into the reader's home kitchen. Featured recipes include unique dishes such as ham and artichoke lasagne, pistachio tiramisu, and pappardelle with blue cheese, pear, and walnut pangrattato. Ultimately, the book champions seasonality and the principle of simplicity, encouraging home cooks to focus on quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation.
