Add some island spice to National Curry Week with a taste of Trinidad at Limin Southbank

What better way to celebrate National Curry Week (October 9-15) than with Trinidad's bold, vibrant flavours at Limin Southbank? Located in the buzzy Gabriel's Wharf on the Southbank, Limin is turning up the heat with two mouthwatering, traditional Trinidadian curries prepared by chef-owner Sham Mahabir, who hails from Trinidad and Tobago.

The G.O.A.T (£25) is on the menu, featuring tender British goat marinated in a robust Trinidadian curry blend and green seasoning for 24 hours, then slow-cooked to perfection, transporting you straight to the Caribbean. For a veggie option, try the Island Veggie Curry (£16), a hearty mix of baby potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and sweet peas slow-cooked with aromatic Trinidad Indian spices, black onion seeds, and fresh coconut milk, served with steamed rice.

Other mouth-watering options include Auntie's Curry Chicken, marinated overnight; the delicately spiced Village Masala Fish; and the Riverside curry leaf and black garlic pork curry.

Limin (pronounced lime-in) is all about making the most of the good times with great food, drinks, music, and friends. Expect a lively island vibe with freshly made Caribbean dishes, tropical cocktails, music, and even a sandy beach—all against the scenic backdrop of the River Thames.
