Legendary immersive production experts Secret Cinema have finally announced their next experience, and it's a doozy.

Secret Cinema is known for taking beloved films and crafting an immersive experience around them, with guests invited to dress up in costumes inspired by the chosen film, wander around incredibly detailed sets, interact with characters, participate in fun activities and storylines, and enjoy themed food and drinks, with a screening of the headline film thrown in for good measure. Past Secret Cinemas have transported guests to the worlds of “Star Wars”, “Stranger Things”, and “Back to the Future”, among others, and now they're setting sail for another timeless franchise.

Scheduled to launch in London in February 2027, the spectacular new immersive production is based on Disney's long-running “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. The limited-run event marks the first time these films have been adapted into a fully immersive theatrical experience, plunging guests into the magical world of “The Curse of the Black Pearl”, the first and arguably best film of the bunch. Audiences are invited to step inside a swashbuckling celebration featuring cinematic-scale sets, live theatrical performances, and a live band. Every evening is designed as a high-energy adventure filled with dazzling stunts that bring the spirit and humour of the film series to life, concluding each night with a grand pirate party worthy of the seven seas.

Whereas previous Secret Cinema events took place at different venues around London, “Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure” will be the first production hosted at the company's new long-term digs at Greenwich Peninsula. It'll run for ten weeks only, and it's sure to be a sold-out affair – general sale starts on 1 June 2026, with various presales commencing as soon as Tuesday 19 May. You can sign up for exclusive presale access here.
