Tim Burton's beloved comedy/horror/creative fever dream is hitting the West End.
Someone at the Prince Edward Theatre must've invoked the titular character's name three times, because the hit Broadway musical adaptation of Burton's classic film “Beetlejuice” is heading overseas for a limited-time run.
Following the story of oddball Lydia Deetz and her family's struggles against the creepy demonic entity Betelgeuse aka Beetlejuice, the musical brings the eccentricities and quirky world-building of Tim Burton to life on-stage with an experienced cast and striking sets. Considering the original film is such an enduring favourite, even spawning a sequel decades on from its release, this is a highly anticipated West End show that's likely to sell out quickly.
“Beetlejuice: the Musical” debuts at the Prince Edward Theatre this week. You can find out more about the production and book tickets here.
