Cosy King's Cross brunch favourite Sandwich Street Kitchen is upping its game this weekend. Staying open until 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, the café is inviting chess fans to throw down all day long.

“I'll have the eggs en passant with rooks on the side, please.”

With its varied assortment of generous fry-ups, shakshukas, pancakes, and other comforting classics, Sandwich Street Kitchen is already a popular spot with the weekend brunch crowds. If a big night out hasn't sapped your brainpower, however, you're especially welcome to visit them this weekend, when they're breaking out the chessboards. They'll be serving their full menu all day long and even staying open later than usual, so everyone gets a chance to test themselves against friends ort new acquaintances.
