If sustainable luxury shopping is your goal, Hostem at Blue Mountain School in Shoreditch might be your ideal destination.
This unique space not only emphasises the artistry of creation through one-off commissioned projects but also maintains these items as part of a lasting collection. Within the school, a curated selection of clothing, objects, art, and ceramics are showcased, rotating between the lower ground and ground floors in a dedicated archive section.
Usually, the collection is available to browse only online and by appointment, offering a thoughtful and exclusive shopping experience. In early April, however, Hostem will be throwing open its doors in order to clear out some of its stock. Taking place from morning to late afternoon on 6–7 April, the Hostem stock sale will feature pieces by Prada, Lanvin, Loewe, Yohji Yamamoto, Andrew Driftwood, and more, with discounts of up to 80% on select items.
