The Queen's Yard Summer Party, as much a herald of the hottest part of the year as swallows and pale calves basking in the sun, is taking over Hackney Wick this bank holiday weekend.

Hosted across multiple venues around the titular area, the annual Queen's Yard Summer Party is filling the streets of Hackney Wick with great tunes and fun-loving crowds looking to journey through London's dance music scene and make full use of the extra Monday off.

No fewer than 20 venues, including local favourites like Colour Factory and Number 90, will be hosting more than 100 DJs and crews in total, from established acts to emerging talent. Representing a wide range of genres, the first festival of the summer offers a glimpse of the marvellous diversity London music is known for. The partying starts at noon and goes on late into the night, with afterparties at venues like Village Underground.
