Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the former crib of Henry VIII is providing a grand backdrop to a family-friendly food festival on its stunning grounds.

As one of the UK's historic royal palaces, Hampton Court is well worth a visit even when there's nothing extra going on, providing a fascinating glimpse into royal life and one of the most infamous monarchs in history. This weekend, however, visitors to this landmark site can also enjoy a big street food festival. A curated line-up of acclaimed street-food vendors, artisan producers, boutique drink companies, and more foodie-friendly businesses will be pitching their tents on the beautiful palace grounds. There will also be plenty to keep little ones occupied as their parents take a deserved break, including face-painting workshops, garden games, arts and crafts, and more.

Entry to the food festival is included in the ticket for the palace. You can find out more about Hampton Court Palace and book your ticket here.
