Keen travellers will be familiar with the thrill of finding accommodation that's a bit unusual, especially if it comes in at a budget-friendly price as well. Thanks to an exclusive pop-up from Airbnb, there's somewhere you can stay in London that fits exactly this criteria – get ready for an unforgettable night in St. Paul's Cathedral.
To tie in with World Book Day, Airbnb have teamed up with TikTok star Abby Parker to offer a one-night-only stay in the cathedral's Hidden Library. This is the first time anyone has officially stayed in the cathedral since the Second World War. Located deep in the heart of this infamous landmark, the library holds a collection of more than 22,000 books ranging from timeless classics to upcoming releases from Penguin Random House.
The people who are lucky enough to stay here will be greeted by the Dean of St. Paul's and given an exclusive tour of the cathedral, as well as getting access to books by John Grisham, Holly Jackson, and Kevin Kwan before they hit the shelves of book stores. Guests will also enjoy dinner at a restaurant nearby before retreating to the library to get some rest. You don't have to go straight home in the morning either. Guests will be treated to breakfast before climbing the cathedral's spectacular dome. You'll get signed books to take home as a memento of the experience too.
This highly exclusive stay is only available on 15th March and costs just £7 for two people. Booking opens on 12th March at 10am. Check the Airbnb listing for more info and get your finger ready on the refresh button if you want to be in with a chance of booking this wholly unique stay.
