Alley Cats Pizza has collaborated with renowned mixologist Giorgio Bargiani of The Connaught to create a unique gin-infused pizza, the Gin Martini Sauce Pizza.
This special edition reinvents the classic vodka sauce pizza by incorporating Fords Gin and extra dry vermouth into a creamy tomato base, topped with fior di latte mozzarella, fresh basil, and Calabrian chilies. To complement the pizza, a Negroni Dip with honey pickled jalapeños has been introduced, adding a bold, bittersweet twist. Bargiani highlights the versatility of gin beyond cocktails, while Alley Cats' head chef Francesco Macrì describes the collaboration as an exciting fusion of rich tomato flavours with gin's botanical depth.
Alley Cats, known for its New York-style pizzas, opened its first site in Marylebone in 2023, followed by a Chelsea location. Their menu features signature pizzas such as Pepperoni with Hot Honey, Fennel Sausage, and the beloved Vodka Sauce Pizza, now reimagined with gin.
The Gin Martini Pizza is available at both Alley Cats Pizza locations until 25 March.
