In the last week of April, Marylebone will turn into foodie heaven with a series of food tastings, masterclasses and other delicious events held at some of the top dining establishments in the area.
From 25 to 30 April, the Marylebone Food Festival will be highlighting top chefs and business in Marylebone. The weeklong event will kick off on Tuesday 25 April with a cocktail and canape reception, followed by a tasting menu with wine pairing, hosted by famed restaurant critic, broadcaster and musician Jay Rayner. The dishes for the tasting menu will be provided by Ottolenghi, Delamina, Cavita, Zoilo, T by Tamara, Philglas & Swiggot, and La Fromagerie, with Donostia in charge of the canapes, The Cavendish pouring the drinks, Cubitt House providing oysters, The Italian Greyhound baking the focaccia, and Hagen Espresso Bar brewing the coffee.
Some of the other highlights of the Marylebone Food Festival include a Mezcal Masterclass at Cavita's speakeasy Mayahuel, a Champagne Bottomless Brunch at Daisy Green, an Oyster Masterclass with the Wright Brothers, and a showcase of regional Pakistani dishes at Zayna.
Proceeds from the festival will be donated to Food Chain, a charity supporting those living with HIV in London and their dependents. In 2022, the Marylebone Food Festival raised £12,000, and they're hoping to exceed that this year.
Tickets for the events are on sale now via the Marylebone Food Festival website, with the exception of the launch dinner – they go on sale on 21 March and are likely to sell out quick, so set your reminders.
