Jamie Oliver's flagship restaurant in Catherine Street has launched a welcome new initiative to help families stretch their budgets over the school holidays. Running until 1 September, the restaurant is launching a "Kids Eat Free" campaign that will remain active all summer long.

The generous offer comes in response to the Government's newly announced temporary 5% reduced VAT rate on children's meals. Rather than simply passing on a minor price reduction to diners, the team at Jamie Oliver Catherine St decided to go a step further by removing the cost of children's dining altogether and letting families enjoy high-quality dining together without the premium price tag.

The promotion is available for weekday lunchtimes, running Monday to Friday between 12pm and 3pm for dine-in guests only. One child under the age of 12 can enjoy a complimentary kid's meal (main, dessert, and drink) for every full-priced adult main course ordered. Little ones will also receive colouring packs and crayons to keep them busy and provide their parents with a moment's respite.
