With his stunning creative output, fabulous iconography, and endlessly intriguing roster of alter egos, David Bowie endures as one of pop music's most fascinating figures. A decade on from his passing, the Lightroom gallery in London is launching a new immersive show dedicated to the legendary musician.
Having dived into the David Bowie Archive in New York to unearth iconic performance footage, never-before-seen material, personal notes, and other rarities, “David Bowie: You're Not Alone” celebrates the music great in a wholly immersive setting. Fitted with cutting-edge technology, including a specialised spatial audio system and 11-metre projection walls, the show invites you to explore Bowie's creative mind, spirit and soul. And whereas previous shows at Lightroom tapped famous names such as Tom Hanks for narration, here the only voice you'll hear is Bowie's, compiled from hundreds of hours of interviews and other recordings.

The show will also be accompanied by themed Lates and Bowie Nights, a series of cross-disciplinary events celebrating the life and work of David Bowie with major artists influenced by his work, including Anna Calvi, Jonathan Barnbrook, and Adam Buxton.
You can find out more about “David Bowie: You're Not Alone” and book tickets here. The show launches on 22 April.
