Negroni Week is back, and London's hotel bars are raising the bar on Italy's iconic aperitivo. From 19–28 September, four of the capital's best bars – The Coral Room, The Bloomsbury Club Bar, The K Bar and The Cocktail Bar at The Marylebone – are shaking up limited-edition Negroni menus.
At The Coral Room and Bloomsbury Club, guests can sip on flights of mini Negronis (£30) in collaboration with Portofino Dry Gin, a premium Ligurian spirit inspired by the Italian Riviera.
At The Coral Room, the Negroni trio shows off Portofino's Mediterranean botanicals in a classic drink, complemented by two zesty twists: the 'Lemon' and 'Orange Negroni'. Over at The Bloomsbury Club Bar, the flight draws on the Italian Riviera, featuring the 'Riviera Negroni' with coconut and lime, the 'Sottosole Negroni' topped with lemon foam, and the barrel-aged 'Bloomsbury Club Negroni'.
Over at The K Bar in Kensington, they are going all-out with creative variations alongside a classic Negroni, including the 'Bungaroni' with crème de banane and chocolate bitters, the 'Royal Tea' infused with Earl Grey, and the fig-forward 'Il Fico' (£18 each).
Lastly, if you head to Marylebone, you'll find The Cocktail Bar is upping the ante with adventurous options like the 'Blackberry & Lemongrass', 'Coffee Negroni' with Kahlua and fresh espresso, and a spicy 'Chilli Chocolate Negroni' (£18–£20).
