In mid-April 2025, the V&A will open a major new exhibition on Cartier, the first of its kind in the UK in nearly 30 years. Featuring over 350 objects, it will showcase iconic jewels, watches, and historic pieces from the V&A and Cartier collections, royal collections, and private lenders.

The exhibition explores Cartier's rise to global fame through craftsmanship, innovation, and relationships with royalty, celebrities, and creatives. Key pieces include Queen Elizabeth II's Williamson Diamond brooch, Grace Kelly's engagement ring, and a 1968 snake necklace worn by María Félix. Visitors will also see striking Art Deco designs, Tutti Frutti jewels, mystery clocks, and a dramatic display of never-before-seen tiaras. A special focus will highlight Cartier's signature style and technical breakthroughs in their workshops, with the history and influence of Cartier London prominently featured as well.
The “Cartier” exhibition aims to create an immersive dreamscape where the renowned luxury brand's legacy can be experienced in light, time, and sound. Running from 12 April to 16 November 2025, tickets to the exhibition start at £27.
