This International Women's Day, The Ivy Collection is doing something slightly different from the usual themed menus and limited-edition cocktails. On Sunday 8 March, restaurants across the UK and Ireland will host special brunches in partnership with Papa Salt Gin, inviting nominated women from local communities to take a seat at the table.

The campaign shines a light on the “unsung heroines” – carers, mentors, volunteers, community leaders and the everyday changemakers who quietly keep things running. Selected nominees will be treated to a complimentary two-course brunch at participating Ivy Collection restaurants, along with gin fizz cocktails courtesy of Papa Salt Gin.

Rather than being a public, ticketed event, the celebrations centre around nominations. Anyone can nominate a friend, family member, colleague, or neighbour who deserves recognition.

Commenting on the campaign, Kate Cooper, Restaurant Operating Officer for The North at The Ivy Collection, said: “Every day we see the incredible impact women have within their communities, often without recognition or thanks. This International Women's Day, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate those unsung heroines - the women who give so much of themselves to others. Partnering with Papa Salt Gin allows us to welcome them into our restaurants and say a heartfelt thank you in the best way we know how.”

A spokesperson from Papa Salt Gin added, “Papa Salt was created to bring people together, and this campaign is a beautiful example of that. There are so many women quietly holding communities up - showing up, supporting others and making a difference every day. Being able to celebrate them alongside The Ivy Collection and give something back to those who give so much feels incredibly meaningful to us.”

Events will take place across participating Ivy Collection sites on Sunday 8 March 2026.
