The legendary Soho Village Fete is returning for its 51st edition this Sunday, bringing an afternoon of live entertainment and eccentric activities to the heart of the city. The free-to-enter community celebration puts a distinct Soho twist on the traditional village fete atmosphere and includes a number of fun competitions that draw hundreds of spectators each year, like the Soho Waiters' Race.

Attendees can look forward to unique attractions throughout the afternoon, including snail racing, a spaghetti eating competition, the quirky Human Fruit Machine, and a popular dog show. The event will also feature the highly anticipated annual Tug of War match, seeing the local Soho Police face off against the Soho Fire Service. Meanwhile, competitors in the legendary Soho Waiters' Race will try to dethrone the reigning four-time champion from Dean Street Townhouse, running up Dean Street to Soho Square and then back to the French House via Greek and Romilly Streets, balancing a tray with drinks throughout. It's offbeat, lively, and incredibly fun, just like Soho itself.
