London's most famous square is hosting two big cultural celebrations across the weekend and they're both free to attend.
On Saturday 18 April, Trafalgar Square will host Vaisakhi, an annual festival commemorating the Khalsa, the founding of the Sikh community in 1699 and one of the most significant events in Sikh culture. The family-friendly event will feature a varied programme of performances and cultural activities, along with free vegetarian treats and traditional Indian tea in the spirit of the community kitchens found at Sikh places of worship.

The following day, Trafalgar Square will honour the patron saint of England, St George of dragon-slaying fame, with the annual Feast of St George. Proving that some things transcend religious differences, the square will once again host all sorts of family-friendly entertainment, including Morris dancing, live music, and games, along with a variety of vendors serving up traditional English fare, and even the famous Pearly Kings and Queens of London will make an appearance.
