Started during the 2020 lockdown, Wood Street Bakery now has a permanent site in the heart of Walthamstow and is a proud part of the community. This local bakery and café works closely with small independent suppliers throughout the UK. Fresh pastries and cakes are sold and in the café you can enjoy a daily-changing menu of sandwiches, quiche, and filled croissants, plus afternoon tea.

    Had a pastry here and it was sooooo good, it's taken up permanent residence in my mind.

    Good coffee and bakes, really like the savoury croissants and pies on offer. The ice tea was also delicious.
